Assessing Measurement Quality of Multidimensional Classroom Incivility Scale in Higher Education

This study examined the reliability and validity of a measure classroom incivility within an Indonesian context. Data were collected from 334 participants through two stages online questionnaire distribution. The measurement quality was evaluated seven partial least squares confirmatory composite analysis (PLS-CCA). Our findings confirm multidimensionality (class disruption, disrespectful communication, integrity violation, use cell phone). In addition, all sub-scales negatively related to civility prosocial behavior, no significant difference found between male female students. Higher education institutions in Indonesia can this instrument as supplementary tool evaluate level incivility. We also discuss its practical implications educational settings general offer suggestions for future research on non-Western countries.
